I am an artist and educator specializing in photographic processes. Born and raised in Istanbul, I have been working with lens- and light-based media since first stepping into a darkroom at the age of ten.
I moved to the U.S. to pursue a BFA at the Rochester Institute of Technology (2010), and later earned an MAT from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (2022). I currently teach photography at both MassArt and the Commonwealth School.
Through my professional practice, RESM, I collaborate with artists and institutions to produce photographic work and create photographic reproductions of non-photographic materials. My clients have included institutions such as Harvard University, and galleries such as nGbK in Berlin and Depo in Istanbul. I also support artists in producing work for publications and exhibitions.
